You may be asking, how come it's a 'precession' and not a 'procession?' Well, a precession is a 26,000 year process where the axis about which the earth rotates gradually shifts... what this means is that during that vast amount of time, continents freeze and thaw, (in the polar regions) so at various points throughout history different points of the earth have been under the ice, including of course North America, Europe, Asia etc.

Another question you may be asking is "How come it takes you 26,000 years just to write a song?!" ;)

I was trying to illustrate these catastrophic yet somewhat slow-developing changes with this song; The song itself kind of just chaotically came together all at once from a lot of riffs written over a (relatively) long period of time.

This song is unique in that it marks my first foray into analog guitar recordings, which sound much fatter and present compared to digital in my humble opinion ;) I was super stoked about my organ pedal's inability to track every note properly, which ended up producing a kind of pitch bending that eerily matched the melancholic vibe found through most of the song.

Anyways, can't thanks you guys enough for supporting me, and enjoy this exclusive track, and many more to follow :)
